Our Story
After spending a year at different rehabilitation centers recovering from surgeries, Don would always notice the same thing.
Near the doors of the centers there were folks in wheelchairs waiting and waiting for their hired van to take them home. Sometimes, as he was leaving his appointments, he would see the same people still waiting from when he arrived.
What a waste of precious time he thought. And why are they waiting on the van and not the other way around?
It was with these thoughts and others that Don decided to start Clarkson Transport to offer a more personable alternative.
About the Owner
Don was born and raised in the Kansas City metro. He spent decades locally in the highway construction and transportation industry before moving into risk management and insurance. His background and experience has also led to him being retained as an "expert witness" for traffic accidents.
Safety has always been top of mind and that will never change.
Don is a married father of two daughters and resides in the southern part of our city.
